  I hope you checked out yesterday's post about my favorite teaching items. Well, today I have another wonderful product that my kids go crazy over. Do you ever need an extra way to provide positive reinforcement or motivation for you students? Well, I have a little secret. Have you ever seen BRAGTAGS? A brag tag is a necklace that students receive and as the year goes on, students can earn lots of different tags. I absolutely love our brag tags.   I first saw BragTags on The First Grade Parade and I fell in love with them. How fun?  I couldn’t wait to try them out in my classroom.  I went and checked out ImageStuff’s website right away. Image Stuff is a wonderful company to work with because they will customize and design great tags that are specific for your class. The company is very friendly and FAST! The hardest part was choosing a design because they are all FABUOLUS! I couldn’t decide if I wanted tags for good behavior, honor roll, good reading, character education, a special day, or star student. After much debating, I finally decided to order tags for knowing sight words, being in the 100 book club, caught being good, and being excellent at special area time.

I even had a mom agree to purchase some extra tags for our class. We now have a TOP of the Chart tag. When a student reaches the highest level on our clip chart they can earn a tag for this accomplishment.   You would be amazed at how the kids LOVE to collect them! Brag Tags would be a wonderful school-wide program but at the very least, it can be a part of your classroom if you follow the guidelines below.   Bragtags has graciously agreed to give away 40 necklaces and 40 brag tags to 2 lucky winners.
