Oh, Christmas Tree... Oh, Christmas Tree

Learning 4 Keeps
I just love decorating for the Holidays so when I saw Learning 4 Keeps Christmas Tree linky party, I knew I'd link up.
Every year I get together with my sisters and mom and we tackle the trees. I usually do two trees when I can't decide on a color scheme. I guess you can say I'm non traditional when it comes to the tree. I have a little OCD. All ornaments much match. I always do white lights and even my wrapping paper must match. YIKES! I always make one new ornament each year to add to the tree. Whenever I have children, I'm pretty sure I'll have a tree dedicated to the handmade ornaments. Speaking of ornaments, I'm off to Michael's to grab some supplies to make some cute DIY ornaments. Check back this week as I will be linking up to the Monday Made It hosted by Tara.

  3. Beautiful! I love the deco mesh, which I am still figuring out how to use (it's trickier than I though). I think that one day, in the far off future, you should be a professional decorator. I have friend who does it, you'd be great!

Don't worry about the ornaments/wrapping paper thing, I am the same! If it doesn't match my color scheme, I won't buy it. And, those bows in a bag just won't do, I use ribbon and tulle on my packages.

    Merry Christmas!

  5. Your trees are absolutely gorgeous!! I love matchy things too but I have so many ornaments from years past that are just random and just have to put up. I was so close to buying another tree this year just to have a matchy tree:) Definitely doing it next year!

  7. I don't think you'd like my mismatched tree. There is no theme unless you call "all childhood ornaments that were given to me upon leaving the nest" a theme.
    Your trees look incredible!!!!
