PJ kinda day

I'm loving that today I have nothing planned. NOTHING! I may even stay in my pjs all day. The last four weeks have been so hectic with Open House, First Lady visit, Pirate Day, and progress reports. I'm ready for a break...I'm getting excited for fall break. We are headed up to Asheville and hoping to get that fall feel. Right now NC is 14 degrees cooler than my town.

Here are my snapshots from the week. I'd love for you to link up!

Saturday and Sunday we made a quick trip to Biloxi. We couldn't pass up a free suite. I had a blast because they were having a seafood festival so I snagged some awesome door hangers and cute classroom decor. Giveaway soon!

These little superheroes were excited that Gigi bought them some new costumes. They really know how to play fight!

Have you seen the Quiet Game app? AMAZING

The Quiet Game is the best FREE app ever! Seriously my kids LOVE it. They are silent when I pull out my phone.

Ships and Sailors class building game on Pirate Day. The students learned it at some gymnastic camp this summer. Now they love to play it at recess.

We are loving our new seat pouches from happi-nappi. What an investment but so worth it! They are so durable.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  1. I can totally relate to being busy the last month. I wish we got a fall break. How long is your break? I like all of the pirate pictures. They make me wish I taught lower grades, but only for a brief moment. Love the superhero costumes! Enjoy your Saturday.

  2. Biloxi?? That's my neck of the woods (well, I'm one county to the east, but it's extremely close all the same)! I hope you had a great time here! :)

  6. I have had a relaxing pjs day too! I love the Ships and Sailors game!! We play it at recess (of course, some of the items are different). I first learned it many years ago when I coached cheerleading and we learned it at summer camp. The students just LOVE it!! I love all your adorable pictures of your family too!

  9. What a beautiful suite and free...wow! Those costumes are too cute and I love the pirate drawings. I used to love doing directed drawings when I taught first grade. Each of them were so similar but unique to each child's style. Loved it...:) Have a wonderful Sunday and new week!
