Daisies, Dots and Bees

I'm linking up with Corinna at Surfin' Through Second, Two Busy Brunettes and 3-6 free resources to share my classroom theme for the new year.  I’m definitely set on black and white with daisies, polka dots, and bees. I have just returned from Hobby Lobby with new bulletin board fabric and all the stuff to make my Monday Made It. FYI- fabric, deco mesh and ribbon -half off today! Don't forget to use your teacher's discount.

Here are some things I’ve made for my room:

Here are my borders:
Black & White Dot Border
Twirls & Swirls Bulletin Board Border
Here are some of my fun purchases from today:

Some classroom pics but more to come!

Just finished up for the day! I was able to get a couple of things accomplished. I put contact paper over my ugly cabinets,  hung my daisy balls, and put bee labels on my cubbies.
If you are doing a bee theme or would like to win any of my bee products pin this picture and you'll be entered into my giveaway. Don't forget to leave your email!

Contact paper found at Marshalls and TJ Maxx but I also bought a roll full price here

This packet was intended for many uses. It’s perfect for any bee lover. It can be used as an AR quiz tracker, no name system, transportation display, attendance, lunch count, graphing and more! The little bees could even be used as calendar tags, bus tags, name tags or cubby numbers. When I call on a students I pick a bee out of a container. Basically the possibilities are endless!!!

  10. I have like a million questions...I followed you here from a post on facebook from Mrs. Rachel's Room.

Anyway, I so want to know how everyone creates all of those borders and backgrounds and such - like the ones for your Bee Rules and behind your letters and your border? Is this something you can share? Is it a special program? Does it require an apple computer?

Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer!

  19. I love these colors so much that I have given serious consideration to abandoning my red, black, and white them for this but alas I have so much red already that I just can't see justifying the expense to do so at this time. I may end up doing a "bug theme" with bees and ladybugs so I can incorporate some of both.
