October 1st and I feel like it's still the beginning of school. I sure hope everyone is getting into a routine and hopefully your plates aren't as FULL as mine.  I am so glad to link up with Farley for October's Currently. Fall is by far my favorite time of year. October is such a fun month.

Thinking- We can't wait til our annual trip to our favorite city. This will be our 6th time in 3 years to visit Asheville, North Carolina. It's kinda like Paris of the South. If you've never been to Asheville you are missing out.

My trick is going to be technology related. My students are having a hard time remembering all of their logins and passwords so I laminated cards and have them sticky tacked to the computer. It has been working so far. Also to store headphones I found this great purchase. :)

My favorite computer app right now is blogstomp. It allows me to watermark my photos and make neat collages. I also love dollar photo club. I've been using it for non fiction pictures. You should give it a try.

I still love Remind as well.  Do you text your class?

Remind is a great way to communicate with parents and students. The best part -it's FREE! Remind allows you to send a quick text message to your parents or students without ever revealing your personal contact information. Parents can sign up to receive your messages by text or email. I've used this service for three years as reminders of important class events. I would remind parents of assignments due or special days at school! My parents loved Remind. It's so user friendly. It will not disappoint!

Currently, New Look and Giveaway!

September 1st? What in the world. Summer flew by and now it's time to get back to the grind.  Oh and football!!!! I am not a huge fan of actually watching the game but I do like the feel of football season. I also like that my husband becomes glued to the tv so I can have time to shop and craft.

I'm linking up with sweet Farley for September's Currently tonight. You should too!

Thank you so much Michelle for your fabulous creativity! I'm in LOVE with the new look.

Leave me a comment of favorite football team and you will be entered into my Fall Giveaway!
I have made a cute Halloween Wreath to giveaway. I'll pick a winner on Friday.

Happy April Fool's Day

I'm linking up with Farley for this month's currently. I can not BELIEVE it's April 1st already.

I'm also going to share with you some of my favorite activities for April Fools.

Have you seen the lirpaloof?  This is one of my most favorite activities along with the fake spelling test.  I am so excited for tomorrow. There are so many fun pranks to use in the elementary classroom.  Do you have a favorite April Fool's day joke or do you skip it altogether?  I happen to love it because my uncle used to always get me when I was a little girl. I have very fond memories of my sweet Uh-Uh.

Last year, I was really disappointed that I couldn't do the awesome POP spelling quiz from Mrs. Bainbridge because I looped with my first graders. Well this year I'm ready to bring back the tradition.

Also, sweet Denise from Sunny Days had the perfect lirpaloof activity. OH.MY.WORD... I couldn't contain the laughter last year. My sweet second graders were all waving their carrots proudly singing "lirpaloof". You see we were very busy trying to catch a glimpse of this rare and elusive bird that feeds on carrots. You definitely need to give this little activity a try! It is a HOOT! THANK YOU DENISE and MRS. BAINBRIDGE for all the fun and laughter.

Mrs. Bainbridge's April Fool's Day Spelling Test is also a keeper. Check out her post from a couple of years ago.

I'm in LOVE with Farley's new look. I can't get over the cuteness factor. Now I'm itching for a new design. How about you?
It's that time again.. you know, CURRENTLY! Where did the month of February go? I can't BELIEVE it's March. Yay for Spring Break!!! Our SB is not til the end of the month but at least I can start a count down.

I really need to sleep because tomorrow I'll be shooting a birthday party for this little princess

I can't get over how precious all of the new spring and summer merchandise is for our little gift shop. I'll be posting pictures on my instagram account. I'll proudly ship if you see something you can't live without.

Circus Fun! Freebie! And MORE!

I am so excited that tomorrow is our last day of school. The best part... it's a half day. Now I am going to miss the students but I'm not going to miss the alarm clock. The reason I'm so excited is I can link up for the weekly Monday Made Its and Currently's on time! It's always  fun to see the wonderful and creative ideas by all of the awesome teachers/bloggers. Monday Made Its became my favorite obsession last summer.

Today I'm linking up some ideas that I used for my nephew's classroom. I don't have children so I just use my nephew and pretend he's mine! I loved helping get things together for his End of the Year Party for Pre-K. It was a circus/carnival theme. It's always fun doing a carnival theme because you can find some easy games and ideas on Pinterest.  For his teacher's gift, we made a cute little banner. I'm making one for me this week for my Brag Tags. Heads up : Ribbon at Hobby Lobby is 50% off this week. Also most of the cute carnival stuff can be found at Hobby Lobby and Michael's. I even got the masks for .50 each. For the month of June I am allowing free downloads to my editable circus and chevron labels! ENJOY

I'm off to check out the other neat projects on Tara's Monday Made It Linky and Farley's Currently. I'll definitely be back next week with some more fun ideas.
