I like Room on the Broom, but when I went to my stash of Halloween books the other day, I mostly had monster books! I really love Leonardo, the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems. It's so fun to read and just all around cute!

Primarily Speaking
Well, I taught secondary so things run a little different. I love Frankenstein though, so I guess you could call it a Halloween book! I also love to read Stellaluna to my daughter. Although it's not about Halloween or monsters, it's still good! I'd love to check out the books that you mention though!

I love Go Away, Big Green Monster and The Big Pumpkin. My third year teaching, my class made a monster quilt with fabric. It is still hanging at my old school. I, so wish I had taken pictures of it.
