I need a fun vacation spot. Any ideas? I'll be giving away 3 of these packets today. Leave me a comment of a great vacation spot. You may be the lucky winner just by leaving me a vacation spot idea. I'm open to ANYTHING!
I vote the Vegas Bloggy Meet Up too!! If not, Myrtle Beach! I just vacationed there for the first time as part of my best friend's Bachelorette weekend and absolutely loved it. There were lots of fun things to do for families and adults so if you're a beach minded person I would recommend it :)
I love San Antonio! (the Riverwalk is so relaxing) or a Lake getaway would be fun! Then, of course, there's the beach! Of course I just got from Italy - that was an awesome vacation! :) Cheryl Crayons and Curls
I always love a weekend retreat to a local resort...one that has a lazy river or wave pool. You can relax with cool water splashing around you and a fun adult beverage in hand. :-) Close to home and affordable, but yet a world away!!! Enjoy your getaway wherever you go!!!
I'm not sure if you have children or like amusement parks, but I live near Hershey Park in PA and it is a blast! You can stay at the Hotel Hershey and enjoy a chocolate spa! Lauren Teacher Mom of 3 teachermomof3@comcast.net
How about Florida? Tons of great places to visit. Maybe you would want to visit Harry Potter or Mickey Mouse or Fort Myers Beach? Or go to Alaska and see the beautiful landscapes. Alaska could be the best bet so you don't hit hurricane season.
In the summer I wish I lived closer to a large-scale water & amusement park. Have you been to the Oregon coast? It's beautiful! Storie Stories by Storie
Mackinac Island is beautiful. Rent a bike to ride around the island, eat fudge, visit a historic fort, eat fudge, ride in a horse and buggy, eat fudge, and stay at the Grand Hotel where they filmed Somewhere in Time! Melissa Mandmyoung@chartermi.net
So do you visit Disney World often since you live in Florida? :o) There's always Silver Dollar City in Branson MO or Dollywood in TN. Beautiful country - lots of lake around Branson....
I live in the most beautiful place - Pawleys Island, South Carolina! We have the river, marsh- creeks and ocean!! It is quiet and peaceful, but Myrtle Beach is just north (about 30 minutes) with so much to do! We are between Charleston and Myrtle Beach!! :) My Kindergarten Kids
I'm mostly a beach girl, BUT live near the mountains in east Tennessee. They really are beautiful. How about a secluded cabin in the Smokey Mountains? Private when you wanna' be, but the hustle & bustle of Amusement park life when you make your way into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge....Home of Dollywood and Splash Country! You might even see a black bear! :-)
I have to agree with Michelle! We live in Kentucky and visit the Smoky Mountains often! It's a lot of fun, and there is a wide variety of things to do!
Overseas trip: England! I lived there for 6 years. I loved the castles, historical places, quaint villages, etc... Stateside: Branson, MO - There's always lots to do there. Silver Dollar City is a wonderful amusement park! ~ Lisa Teaching Kindergarten Kiddos
Sounds fabulous. We always study Holidays Around the World and I'm always in charge of England. I've really need to do some research and development right? Thanks for the suggestions!
The beach is an obivious suggestion, but I think you should go for something different...how about a cruise or a trip to Alaska or Canada or combine them and take a cruise to Alaska (something I've always wanted to do)?
I live in Utah, and we have 5 National Parks here which are all amazing! But deep down I'm a Southern California girl -- the beach! Disneyland, OC! Too many things to do in one trip!!
I just got back from Jamaica & it was a blast if you are up for some island fun!!! :)
