I've been surrounded with candy the past couple of days. I made the
Kiss Your Brain jar yesterday but today I made this cute Father's Day card for my DAD along with the lollipop tree for my classroom. For complete details on making the lollipop tree click
here. What do you guys do for Father's Day gift ideas? It's always hard to find the perfect gift. My sisters and I are bringing steaks over to have a cookout with our Father but I still need some ideas. Tell me your gift ideas and I'll send over my Father's Day unit for FREE to the first 10 comments/ideas!
I LOVE the card!!! I've seen that on pinterst and always thought it'd be fun to make for someone :)

I give my dad his favorite See's Candy, a whole pound full of pecan buds. It's a tradition and he knows always what he will get.

We usually make a photo book for grandpa and my husband is car FANATIC, so we try to go that route with him. With the girls being 17 and 19, it gets harder and harder...

The "grandkids" are giving my dad a candy card similar to what you posted. For my husband, my son has a card and "coupon" for a car wash that he made. Since my son and I are on vacation visiting my parents without my husband, we left gifts hidden and will call and tell him where they are. We made a "You're Simply the Best, Daddy!" tag and left Simply Lemonade in the fridge. We also got him a Spiderman coffee mug and gift cards.

For my husband...my girls are making a "handprint" collage with their handprints, names, and ages. I will frame it and give it to him on Father's Day! Love the candy idea! :)

I think I am going to make my husbands favorite dessert- German chocolate brownies. Just like German chocolate cake, but a lot less work and he loves them sooo much. His dad likes gingersnaps so I might make him some of those. I'm not crazy about either which is good, I won't be tempted to eat them!! :)

I'm making a lil BBQ gift set for my dad this year. I'm including grill utensils, various sauces and spices, a "cook" t-shirt and a case of his favorite beer.

The Learning Tree
We are getting my dad materials so he can build a firepit that he has been wanting. I guess it gives him work to do but he really wants it!! HAHA! Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas!

We are doing the cookout thing too. And making his favorite dessert....chocolate eclair cake.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking my 3 year old to the Dollar Tree and giving her $5 to pick out stuff for her dad. I'm sure her picks will be funny. It's not an expensive gift, but he will love that she picked it all out. :)
oops.....I forgot my email.

This year I bought foam can coozies and my kinders decorated those with foam stickers. We attached a "Dad" shaped keychain from Oriental Trading. We presented our gifts at a Donuts for Dads party after school.

We're also going over to do a cook-out for dad on Sunday. I wish I could help with the Father's Day ideas, but my husband knocked that out for me by setting up and purchasing their "golf package" for our upcoming beach trip - men! ;)
