Follow for Freebies
Who doesn't love freebies? At the beginning of the year, I always love having the parents fill out this Getting to Know You Sheet. Sometimes it even comes in handy for documentation and advice for situations that arise in the middle of the school year. It's also fun to gain insight through the eyes of the parents. Click on the picture to download. The next freebie is for the students to fill out the first week. It makes a great class book.

  4. I do one of these every year too and really find them helpful more times than not in learning details I wouldn't have otherwise known about my students. You have two questions on here that I've never asked that I really like-- The holiday question and the one about who the child lives with!

  8. This fall will begin my very first year of teaching! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. I am thankful for people like you that take time out of your day to post ideas and inspirations for everyone to see. I have gotten so many ideas from bloggers like you that I am beginning to feel less nervous and much more thrilled to be beginning my teaching career!!

  10. Love this! We do something similar, but this is adorable! It is always so great to find out what the parents have to say about their kiddos! We just found you through Dirty Hands and Lesson Plans and are now following you! We would LOVE it if you want to check us out sometime!
