Do you do anything for Cinco de Mayo? Outside
of school, I usually have friends and family over for some Margaritas and Tacos
but in class I barely touch on it. This
year I’m going to do a little celebration on Friday for my sweet students. I
feel like making these darling piñata cookies that have been all over pinterest. You can find them at Project Denneler.
We’ll be watching a brainpopjr video on Mexico and reading Cinco de Mayo books.
I even have a mom bringing in a piñata. There are many cute packets that I'll be using. In honor of my favorite cuisine,
I’m having a flash giveaway. It’s a good one!
I’ll be giving away a custom stamp (personal or school stamp -your
choice) from pjgreetings along with April Larremore’s Cinco de Mayo packet. and....guess what I have another great Cinco de Mayo packet to give away. Donna Glynn is also teaming up with her Cinco de Mayo Fun packet. If you haven't checked out Donna at Kinderglynn then you should. Her packets are always a lot of fun. She makes HUGE packets. Just wondering... do you follow
ChalkTalk? I sure wish our school had an April Larremore. What a wonderful
resource she is! I always love reading her blog posts because I find good
books, lessons, and other blogs. She always passes along great ideas. Thanks April!
